Yesterday was my last day of work at my current job. Today, I am self employed. It feels so good knowing I won't have to wake up in the morning and have to warm up the car or dread driving out in the crappy weather again. I am so happy that I get to watch my sunshine face grow up. And boy is he growing. He is a year old already, walking and talking his jibberish. Every day he amazes me.
So today, I sit in my house with my little boy and am thanking God (and my husband) for giving me the opportunity to be a stay at home mom and work as a day care provider. I am so excited and can't wait for the journey to begin next week.
Today is the best day.
